Stan Jones trained in Sheffield and did a fellowship at Great Ormond Street and Stanmore Hospitals. He specialises in adult foot and ankle and paediatric orthopaedics. He is also interested in reconstructive surgery.

Stan Jones is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and is based at the Northern General Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. At the Northern General Hospital his orthopaedic practice is devoted to the treatment of disorders of the adult foot and ankle. His paediatric practise involves all aspects of paediatric orthopaedics. In addition he has an interest in reconstructive surgery and undertakes deformity correction and limb lengthening using external fixators both in adults and children. His Fellowship training was carried out at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He also did a fellowship (foot and ankle) with Roy Sanders in the USA. He has published widely in various aspects of paediatric orthopaedics and adult foot and ankle disorders. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, British Orthopaedic Foot Surgery Society and the British Society for Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery.
