Simon Buckley graduated from London University in 1990 and was a higher surgical trainee in Leeds. Simon gained the FRCS (Tr & Orth) qualification in 2000. Prior to taking up a Consultant position at the Northern General Hospital, he was The Cavendish Hip Fellow in Sheffield. Simon was President of the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association in 2001-2002.
Simon is now the audit lead for the Orthopaedic department at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and is the educational supervisor for the junior doctors on the South Yorkshire Training Rotation.
