Meg Birks is an Orthopaedic Hand & Wrist surgeon who qualified from Medical School in London.

Meg's Higher Surgical Training was in the Oxford region.  She spent a year on fellowship in Manchester covering elective and emergency hand/wrist surgery with plastic and orthopaedic surgeons.  Meg is an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor and contributes, as invited faculty, to other courses. 

Meg Birks has published in general surgery and orthopaedic journals on wide ranging subjects.  She has contributed chapters to 2 orthopaedic textbooks and was amongst the first group of Advanced Trainees in Hand Surgery to take the British Hand Surgery Diploma which she completed in October 2007.
